Orientation

The student orientation process is conducted one week prior to the date of course commencement. The purpose of this student orientation process is to get the students acquainted with life and studies at ACCIT. It is during the orientation process that the international students get to understand the cost of living, accommodations, and transportation system in Sydney. During this session, the students get a chance to get their doubts cleared off by asking questions the staff members of this college.

Student Support, Welfare and Guidance

As an existing or prospective student of the college ACCIT, you get an opportunity to ask the faculty members or program coordinators about all the queries that swarm inside your head. Such sessions can prove helpful if they are conducted before you attend their classes. The student service officers working for our college offer referral and advice on issues that can be cultural, emotional or purely academic. The students can also get referrals to other service providers in a varied range of industries like counseling, housing, and health. The students are introduced to the Student Contact Officer right at the time of induction.

Student Complaints, Grievances and Appeals Policy

The PEO/DoS/Student Service Officer implements the procedure to ensure the fact that all staff members and students are made aware of the application process. Please refer to the students' handbook page 9.For students' complaints and appeals Click Here

Activities

ACCIT always encourage students in learning about the Australian habitat and organises activities for their professional development. ACCIT arranges excursions (cost applicable) within Australia and as well as internationally so that the students can relate real-life industry experience to their area of studies. During the trip to an overseas excursion, students get enriched with the hands-on industry experience that is required for both, working in an organisation and running one. This experience would help you in becoming fit for the industry. The Student Service Officer is always accessible to the students for their queries about the cost of these excursions. We also organise different activities for students to learn about the surroundings and also to make friends. If you have any suggestion on how you can make the activities more interesting, feel free to come to reach us at the office.

Relevant legislation

A range of legislation is there to support all international students in Australia. Information related to relevant legislation can be found on the following websites.

It is the responsibility of all staff to ensure the requirements of relevant legislation are met at all times. Check the websites indicated or contact to the Principal Executive Officer for further information.

Please refer to the ACCIT website for our policies and training process. All students will receive a copy of the student handbook at the time of enrolment. A student handbook is available on the website and it is an important guide for students.
